"My weight loss started almost five years ago since starting Martin Gottlieb and Associates. The health promotion programs that they offer have transformed my life. In this time, I have lost 40 pounds and I feel better, stronger and confident. Last started working with Patricia , a dedicated and enduring health coach that has been my partner and champion n the process. As my health coach she is always there for me. We connect every two weeks on Thursdays via the phone. I can connect with her at the office via email and by phone. She helps me set my goals and meet them and also celebrates my accomplishments. She listens and cares with compassion and understanding. Through her generous smile , I can feel her pride in all that I've accomplished. She has emphasized the mind-body connections and taught me to listen to my body and clear my mind. She has provided practical guidance such as a list of foods with potassium and magnesium along with adding more fruits and vegetables to my diet. She taught me how to count calories and fat grams . Provided great tips on ways to drink water throughout the day. I have a weakness for chips -I love them!-and she has helped me to manage my cravings and enjoy only on occasions. She has also helped me to have a better system to take my blood pressure medicine as directed. I work out more and aim to be physically active for at least 150 minutes per week as per the CDC guidelines. She has even encouraged me to find a better PCP and incorporated it in my goal. When I felt stuck and frustrated on not losing as much weight as I wanted to, Patricia reminded me that I am close to my goal, giving me a much needed boost of encouragement and motivation. I hope Patricia continues to help many like me that are ready and committed to making a healthier lifestyle change. Because of her, I have been able to lose and maintain weight loss. More importantly, I learned about and have enacted self love, thoughtfulness and mindfulness. I am so grateful to her for sharing in this journey."
